Best Practices for Social Media Marketing Strategies

As students and faculty in the linguistics department at Brigham Young University, we have noticed that there is a lot of advice on the internet about best practices in social media marketing.

However, the advice is so general that we wonder whether it really addresses how to use each platform as effectively as possible in specific industries.

In addition, we're fascinated by language and linguistics, and we want to use our language-analysis skills for the benefit of the social media world.

Therefore, we decided to start a blog that presents our linguistic analyses of social media language within specific industries.

Ultimately, we hope our analyses will provide unique insight into how to improve social media marketing strategies across a variety of industries.
